Job summary

McLaren Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room to deliver high-quality nursing care within unit scope of practice. The role follows hospital policies, nursing process guidelines, and standards of care.

You will assess patients, document responses, plan and implement care, and supervise ancillary personnel to maintain patient safety. Required: RN license in Michigan, BLS; ACLS within six months for critical areas; ACLS/NRP/PALS as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan RN license.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS certification.
• ACLS within six months for specified units; NRP/PALS where required.

Responsibilities

• Assess each patient, document response to plan of care, and take corrective action.
• Plan and implement the patient's plan of care and provide teaching.
• Oversee all ancillary personnel for clinical tasks.
