USPI Foundation Surgical Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a motivated Operating Room Nurse to join our team. We have 20 private suites and 5 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Bariatric, Orthopedic, General, Neuro/Spine, ENT, Pain, Urology.

Job Summary: The Operating Room Nurse provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. The ideal candidate will focus on excellent customer service, have the ability to multi-task, show flexibility in assignments, maintain scrupulous infection control standards, maintain professional competencies, and work as part of an interdependent multidisciplinary team. Employees may be cross-trained in other areas of Surgical Services and may perform duties outside their normal scope based on staffing and patient needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• Must have a current unrestricted RN license in the state.
• At least 1 year of experience working as a Circulator is required.
• Current American Heart BLS certification.
• Scrub experience is a bonus but not required.
• CNOR certification is desirable.
