Job summary

St. Mary’s Ambulatory Surgery Center in Richmond, VA is seeking a Full-time Operating Room RN with no weekends, holidays, or on-call, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

The center features four operating rooms and multiple specialties, offering a collaborative, patient-centered environment. The RN will support a multispecialty team, performing room setup, patient monitoring, anesthesia assistance, sterile technique, and postoperative care while maintaining rigorous infection control and safety

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum of three years experience in operating room nursing.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the surgical team to prepare and set up the operating room for a variety of procedures.
• Assess and monitor patients throughout surgical interventions, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Administer medications and assist with anesthesia as required.
• Maintain sterile techniques and aseptic conditions in the operating room.
• Provide postoperative care and coordinate patient recovery.
• Uphold infection control standards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
• Serve as backup scrub tech as needed.
