Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking an Operating Room Nurse for our ambulatory surgery center who embodies our company's values by caring like family. You will be a valuable addition to our team, contributing your expertise in circulating or scrub roles, ensuring safe and effective nursing care until transfer to recovery.

What you will do in this role:

• Oversee instrument and equipment setup, utilizing preference cards and anticipating surgeon needs.
• Coordinate and oversee your room during procedures as the circulator.
• Facilitate efficient transitions between surgical procedures.
• Use proper body mechanics to move patients safely.
• Manage patient care and medication, including assistance with anesthesia.
• Review charts for completeness according to documentation protocols before and after procedures.

Qualifications you will need:

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum 1 year of OR experience, preferably in an ambulatory surgery center.
• Active RN license as required by the state or appropriate compact licensure.
• Valid BCLS certification (online certification not acceptable).
• ACLS certification as required by the facility.
• CNOR certification preferred.
