Job summary

Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center - Temple Terrace is seeking an Operating Room Nurse Circulator to join our team. You will position, prep, and circulate during orthopedic, ENT, general, and other surgeries in a fast-paced ambulatory setting.

The center offers a 4x10 schedule with no weekends, nights, holidays, or on-call, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Required: RN license in FL, 1 year OR circulator experience, and BLS/ACLS/PALS as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state (FL).
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• Minimum 1 year experience working as a Circulator.

Responsibilities

• Position, prep, and circulate the patient during surgery.
• Assist with maintaining sterile technique and patient safety.
• Support diverse surgical specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, and more.

Welcome to Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center - Temple Terrace, an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Temple Terrace, FL. Established in 2013 by a leading group of physicians in their fields to offer safe, high-quality surgical care to our community. Our specialties include Orthopaedic, Hand Surgery, Spine Surgery, Pain Management, Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, and ENT.

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
