Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Centennial is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to provide circulating nurse services during surgery. The role emphasizes patient positioning, prepping, and intraoperative circulation across several specialties.

The position requires an RN with valid state licensure, BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred), and at least 1 year of circulator experience. Workdays are weekdays only with competitive benefits and a $7,500 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS required, ACLS, PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Position, prep, and circulating the patient during surgery.
• Provide nursing care and service during cases; assist in positioning.

Registered Nurse Operating Roomat Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Centennial:

The Registered Nurse Circulator provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The Circulating RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: ENT, Gastroenterology, General surgery, Ophthalmology,Colon & Rectal Surgery,etc.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS required, ACLS, PALS preferred
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
