Job summary

ChristianaCare is seeking a full-time Operating Room Assistant II to manage and distribute disposable supplies for the OR and related areas in Newark, DE. The role supports ongoing surgical services by ensuring accurate stocking and timely delivery of materials.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma and at least three years in Materials Management/Supply Chain, with proficiency in Excel and strong communication with clinical staff. Competitive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years in Materials Management or Supply Chain.
• Experience in a healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage and distribute disposable supplies for the OR and related locations.
• Place orders using RFID and Workday handheld systems.
• Verify stock levels and conduct clean room audits.
• Restock, rotate, and monitor supplies across OR, labs and ancillary areas.
• Respond to emails and Vocera messages from Clinical Staff.
• Maintain safety and report hazards to supervisor.
