Job summary

Penn Medicine in Philadelphia is seeking a Material Service Partner to support the Operating Room supply chain. You will pick instrument sets and surgical supplies for OR procedures, stock and inventory supplies, and transport case carts within the ISC.

This 1.0 FTE night role runs Thu-Sun, 10pm–6am at 3400 Spruce Street. A high school diploma is required, with 0–1 years in supply chain in a high-volume setting. Tuition assistance and career growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 0-1 years of experience in supply chain in a high-volume institution.

Responsibilities

• Pick instrument sets and surgical supplies for OR procedures; assess supplies and place orders as needed.
• Receive supply shipments; stock and return supplies to storage area.
• Transport soiled and clean case carts within the ISC.
• Display communication skills with IP staff, supervisors and others.
• Demonstrate courtesy and respect for employees to fulfill the service mission.
• Modify behavior or work schedule to achieve department goals.
• Share information and trends proactively.
• Be open to change and promote it in others.
