Responsibilities

The Manager of Perioperative Services oversees patient care in the perioperative environment. They manage staff across all Perioperative Departments, consult with staff, physicians, and the Nurse Executive on nursing issues, and interpret hospital policies to meet patient needs. They also maintain performance improvement activities and assist with departmental budgeting.

Qualifications

• Must have a current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS (AHA) certification upon hire, maintained current.
• Minimum of two years supervisory/management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for hires after 1/11/2021.
• CNOR certification preferred.
• Current ACLS (AHA) certification upon hire, maintained current.
• At least two years of experience in Surgical Nursing.
• PALS (AHA) certification required for facilities caring for pediatric patients.
