Job summary

You will clean operating rooms and common spaces, safely operate and maintain equipment, handle waste properly, and follow infection prevention guidelines while working both independently and as part of a team. Shift details: 2nd Shift, 37.5 hours per week.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment in assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect operating rooms and common spaces.
• Safely operate and maintain clean equipment and supplies.
• Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste properly.
• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and hospital policies.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet department needs.
