Job summary

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, related experience, and preferably a Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician. 1–2 years of relevant work experience is preferred; this is a 1st shift, part-time position with 18.75 hours

Qualifications

• Previous related experience preferred.
• Certified Surgical Cleaning Technician preferred.
• 1–2 year experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, safe and sanitary environment in assigned areas.
• Clean and disinfect operating rooms and common spaces.
• Safely operate and maintain clean equipment and supplies.
• Handle, separate, and dispose of regular and biohazardous waste properly.
• Follow all infection prevention, safety, and hospital policies.
• Work independently and as part of a team to meet department needs.
