Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Maryland is seeking a Float Pool Registered Nurse for the Surgery department. This part-time daytime role involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and support holistic healing.

You will use the Quality Caring Model, apply nursing process, educate patients and families, and coordinate continuity of care with the care team. PRN/Days shift flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• RN nurse with current state licensure (Maryland or Compact).
• BLS certification (AHA) required or as applicable to unit.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage care for routine patients using the nursing process, including patient/family education.
• Communicate patient and family information clearly to the health care team.
