The role includes assisting the EVS OR Lead in coordinating cleaning of the surgical environment and supporting overall facility cleanliness in a large hospital system with a focus on patient-focused care.

Qualifications

• 6 months Housekeeping experience.
• 1 year Operating Room: Housekeeping experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs general cleaning and other service tasks in various areas throughout the OR and the facility to include patient rooms, ancillary areas, and surgical environments.
• Handles, transports, and processes trash and linen.
• Performs set-up and break-down of meeting rooms.
• Maintains floors, walls, upholstery and other items using specialized cleaning procedures.
• Operating Room: Assists EVS OR Lead in coordinating, completion and cleaning of surgical environment.
