Job summary

Surgical Care Affiliates, LLC is hiring a Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the United States for an on-site role in Colorado. The position focuses on patient safety, OR support, and ensuring efficient flow within the ambulatory surgical setting.

Required are a high school diploma or equivalent and preferred MA/CNA/PCT credentials with BLS within 90 days. Knowledge of medical terminology and OR procedures is expected, and a competitive hourly wage is offered (USD 16.15–29.04 per hour).

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• Certified Medical Assistant (MA)/Nursing Assistant (CNA)/Patient Care (PCT) preferred.
• Successful completion of BLS Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, knowledge of the sterile field, OR Instruments and equipment. Knowledge of patient positioning in the OR.

Responsibilities

• Protecting the patient from injury caused by extraneous objects and chemical, electrical, mechanical, and thermal sources
• Demonstrating safe operation of equipment machinery and follows procedures for reporting and correcting an unsafe situation
• Adhering to standard precautions including the use of personal protective equipment
• Proactively optimizes opportunities to enhance flow and efficiency of the center
• Help maintain cleanliness and organization in the operating room.
• Operating room resource/runner for staff in the operating rooms.
• Operating Room turnovers.
• Help to pull supplies for OR cases.
• Assist materials manager and backup for the role.
