**Job Summary:**

Performs general cleaning tasks within and outside of patient rooms. Ensures instrumentation, supplies, and specialty equipment are delivered and available for scheduled procedures. Delivers sterile supplies and equipment to the Operating Room.

Shift Hours: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday-Friday.

**Key Responsibilities:**

1. Responds to emergency calls or requests for cleaning services.
2. Assists in preparing patient rooms for procedures, including cleaning, sanitation, removing supplies/equipment, and transporting special equipment and supplies based on AAMI standards.
3. May remove solid and/or biohazard trash.
4. The responsibilities listed are a general overview; additional duties may be assigned.

**Technical Capabilities:**

1. Customer Service (Intermediate): Keeps management informed on projects, ensures customer satisfaction, discusses options with customers, and negotiates service levels.
2. Sterilization Preparation (Fundamental Awareness): Has limited experience or training with sterilization prep.
3. Surgical Equipment Knowledge (Intermediate): Demonstrates mastery of equipment, resolves equipment issues, and understands performance criteria.
