Job Overview

Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have a full time opportunity for an Operating Room Attendant (Tech) working 11am-7:30pm.

Responsibilities
  • Under the direct supervision of the Perioperative management team, the OR Attendant (Tech) provides safe and timely transport of patients to and from hospital departments. The position is responsible for the stocking of medical and non-medical supplies, transport of laboratory specimens, retrieval of blood products and linen coordination.
  • Other services include: OR terminal cleaning, turn over cleaning and assistance between operative cases, waste management, stocking of fluids and blankets in warmers.
  • Coordinates services with others to provide optimum assistance for OR, PACU and SPD personnel and to maintain optimum OR utilization.
  • This is not an all-inclusive list of this job’s responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications

Preferred:

High School Diploma / GED

Two years' related job experience
