U K Healthcare Ltd. is seeking an ORA assistant to support the nursing team in Lexington, KY. The role involves assisting with sterile supplies, handling instruments, transporting patients, and ensuring ID badges and belongings are secure.

The position also includes performing OR turnover duties, aseptic technique, clear communication, patient confidentiality, and safe lifting of patients and equipment as needed. This is a site-based clinical support role with hospital requirements.

Responsabilités

• Opening sterile supplies
• Holding instruments and extremities
• Running errands
• Obtaining supplies and blood/pharmacy products
• Transporting patients by bed, wheelchair, or stretcher
• Ensuring patient ID badges are correct
• Securing patient belongings
• Performing OR turnover duties including cleaning OR tables, mopping floors, changing trash and linens, and assisting with inventory counts
• Handling equipment and supplies with aseptic technique
• Efficiently communicating
• Maintaining patient confidentiality
• Pushing, pulling, and/or lifting patients and objects up to/greater than 100 pounds
