Schedule: Full Time

Shift: 7:30am-4:00pm / 8:00am-4:30pm

Location: 9100 W 74TH ST, Shawnee Mission, 66204

Responsibilities:

• Assist with patient positioning and prepping under the guidance of a licensed surgical team member.
• Responsible for room turnover including trash removal, equipment cleaning, linen removal, sweeping, and mopping.
• Assist in bed preparation for the next surgical patient.
• Deliver specimens to lab, obtain blood for transfusions, secure supplies and equipment from other departments.
• Transport patients to the perioperative area as requested.

• Provide safe transport of patients to and from Surgical Services.
• Assist with patient positioning in the operating room.
• Clean operating rooms and equipment.
• Transport blood, supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Assist with stocking supplies in the Surgery area.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• BCLS certification through the American Heart Association
