Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management is seeking an OR Assistant to support daily operating room activities, clean and disinfect suites, transport patients and equipment, and assist operative teams as needed. This role helps ensure safe, courteous care and efficient case turnover.

The successful candidate will follow established guidelines, participate as a productive team member, and adhere to PHI handling requirements in a hospital setting.

Job description

A Brief Overview

Supports and assists operative teams with the daily flow of activities of the operating room (OR) and patient care by cleaning/disinfecting the operating room suites and related areas, transporting patients and equipment, stocking supplies, and performing other duties as assigned.Successful performance of this role helps UH provide safe, helpful and courteous care to patients and directly provides safe, helpful and courteous support services to operative teams.Initiates and performs tasks according to established guidelines.
