Monday - Friday 4 / 10 hour shifts, 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.; may require irregular hours, rotating shifts, and weekends; holiday call and disaster teams.

Minimum Training and Education

• At least 1 year work experience in a .6 fte Operating Room Assistant II position at MUSC CHS or 1 year of patient care work experience in a healthcare facility
• A college degree, or active enrollment in nursing school with completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited institution
• Active enrollment in a healthcare related field from an accredited institution
• Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant, or equivalent training

Required Credentials

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 2 weeks of hire, and must be maintained thereafter. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
