Operating Room Assistant - White Fence Surgical Center

White Fence Surgical Center, a leading outpatient surgical facility dedicated to providing high-quality care, is seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Assistant. This full‑time position requires weekdays only—no holidays or weekends, with occasional later evenings. Competitive salary and benefits are offered to the right candidate.

The Operating Room Assistant is responsible for helping prepare the operating room; assisting the RN, surgeon, and anesthesiologist before, during, and after surgery; maintaining and cleaning the ORs and surrounding areas; transporting specimens and blood products; assisting with patient positioning and transport; maintaining adequate supplies for OR room turnover; handling insurance carriers and patient follow‑ups.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong ethical and moral character references
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems
• Positive attitude, desire to efficiently support patient care, and ability to work in a team relationship with other healthcare workers to produce positive outcomes
• Previous operating room experience (Preferred)
• ASC experience (Preferred)
