Job Summary
Responsible for providing delegated and supervised direct patient care by the registered nurse. Also responsible for housekeeping duties and supporting other staff members.
Essential Functions
Physical Requirements
Requires use of both hands and fingers for gripping, speed, and precision in equipment manipulation and patient handling. Must have distance vision and hearing up to twenty feet, with depth perception and ability to distinguish basic colors. The role involves long or irregular work hours, rotating shifts, walking on hard surfaces, exposure to moving equipment, temperature and humidity changes, and potential exposure to bloodborne pathogens, dust, fumes, and chemicals. Physical effort includes walking, stretching, bending, climbing stairs, twisting, squatting, kneeling, lifting, pushing, and pulling, with the ability to lift and support up to 51 pounds.
Education, Experience, and Certifications
High school diploma or GED preferred. BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
