Minimum Requirements

At least 1 year work experience in a .6fte Operating Room Assistant position at MUSC CHS or 1 year of patient care work experience in a healthcare facility; or a college degree, or active enrollment in nursing school with completion of Nursing Fundamentals from an accredited institution; or active enrollment in a healthcare related field from an accredited institution; or a Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant, or equivalent training.

Required Licensure, Certifications, Registrations
  • Basic Life Support required within 2 weeks of hire. Thereafter, must maintain. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers.
Work Schedule

May require working irregular hours, rotating shifts and weekends.

Monday - Friday 4 / 10 hour shifts, 2 pm - 10 pm.

Holiday Call and Disaster Teams.
