Job summary

Providence Portland Medical Center is seeking a Perioperative Aide to join the surgical team under the supervision of the perioperative nurse. You will prepare operating rooms, transport patients, retrieve and decontaminate equipment, and stock general supplies in the OR, contributing to a smooth surgical workflow.

This role may provide limited patient care by assisting with opening supplies before surgery. National Provider BLS is required on hire; recent OR experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare operating rooms and safely transport patients.
• Retrieve and decontaminate equipment and stock general supplies in the OR.
• Assist with opening supplies before surgery and provide limited patient care as needed.
