Job summary

Whataburger is seeking an Operating Partner in Athens, GA to lead a team, drive P&L results, and shape daily operations. You will oversee staffing, budgeting, and execution of company standards while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Responsibilities include hiring and developing talent, monitoring performance, implementing change initiatives, and ensuring safety and compliance. This role offers strong growth and leadership development within a national brand.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of management experience in restaurant or hospitality.
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong budgeting, recruiting, and coaching abilities.
• Knowledge of restaurant operations and labor law compliance.
• Ability to present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manages profit and loss and financial tasks such as cash reporting, labor, food expenses, repairs, and maintenance.
• Attracts and retains talent through hiring decisions, growth and development plans, and regular performance assessments.
• Works with Managers and the Market Leader to execute operational plans.
• Monitors restaurant performance and processes utilizing reporting tools, customer metrics, and labor metrics.
• Maintains restaurant safety protocols through promotion of all food safety policies, procedures, tools, and systems and creation of a safe work environment.
• Builds relationships with customers and resolves customer complaints.
• Responsible for rollout and adoption of all change initiatives, to include new products, systems, company campaigns and strategies.
