Job summary

CHI Health Midlands is seeking an Operating Engineer to independently manage journeyman-level duties for the energy plant, hospital, and related equipment. You will design, install, or maintain building systems to ensure safety, efficiency, and occupant comfort.

Responsibilities include operating high-pressure boilers, chillers, absorbers, and automated control systems, plus compiling water treatment reports and performing routine maintenance.

Qualifications

• Operate high-pressure boilers.
• Operate chillers and absorbers.
• Compile water treatment reports.
• Maintain boilers, chillers, pumps, steam pipes, and related machinery.
• Operate automated building control system and make corrections as required.
• Operate/adjust air handling equipment.
