Essential Functions

1. Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and perform all required periodic and preventive maintenance on engine room equipment, including boilers, chillers, pumps, electric motors, water softeners, electric generators, and hot water generators. Keep accurate operation records.
2. Record and report completed repairs and items requiring further attention.

Education Requirements

1. Technical Degree in Mechanics, Electricity, or Refrigeration with 1-3 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
2. Must have Stationary Engineer License or Commonwealth of Massachusetts 1st or 2nd Class Engineer License.
3. Must hold Massachusetts Wastewater Operator Grade I license.

Experience Requirements

1. 5-9 years of experience in utility operation and/or maintenance.
2. Experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device, Food and Beverage, or Healthcare industries with knowledge of cGMPs is preferred.
3. Willingness to work any and all shifts.
