Trinity Health in Illinois is seeking a full-time Boiler Room Operating Engineer to operate and maintain steam boilers, cogeneration equipment, and HVAC support systems in a hospital setting. You will monitor BAS, perform water treatment, and support annual state inspections in Maywood.
You will conduct routine inspections, document abnormalities, and assist building engineers to resolve heating problems, ensuring comfort and safe work conditions for staff and patients.
Full time Shift: Evening Shift
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Steam Plant Boilers and Cogen equipment. Repairs and maintains all equipment supporting boiler room systems, condensate systems, feedwater pumps, regulators, drains, prepares internal cleaning of boilers for annual state inspection. Monitor BAS systems operating boiler steam pressure, system graphs. Preform water treatment for steam plant systems. Responsible for all activities in the central plant building on all shifts as assigned. Assists in repairs and cleaning of the boiler room. Conducts regular inspections of boiler operations. Assists building engineers in resolving all heating problems related to facility conditions.
