Job summary

Signature IT World Inc. is seeking a Senior OpenText Documentum expert for a 12-month hybrid role in North Carolina. You will design, develop, and support Documentum-based solutions (Content Server, D2 Config, D2 Classic, D2 Smart View) while integrating IDP capabilities and cloud services.

Required: 10+ years with Documentum, 7+ years Java/Python, strong AWS experience (EC2/ECS/RDS/ALB). You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and participate in Agile SCRUM

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing, developing, and troubleshooting Documentum apps (Content Server, D2, Brava).
• 3+ years OpenText Knowledge Discovery and AI capabilities.
• Strong Documentum architecture, object model, security.
• Experience with platform upgrades and migrations.
• 5+ years REST APIs using Spring Framework for ECM platforms.
• 7+ years Java and Python experience.
• Proficient in Git, Jenkins, Jira, IntelliJ, Tomcat/J2EE, and SQL databases.
• Solid knowledge of design patterns and software architecture.
• Familiar with unit testing, code coverage, deployment, vulnerability management, and monitoring.
• 5+ years AWS: EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, AWS SDK.
• Skilled in troubleshooting AWS deployments and logs.
• Strong Agile Scrum practices: sprint planning, backlogs, stand-ups, retrospectives.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and work with cross-functional teams.
• Capable of managing time, tasks, and priorities.
• Preferred certifications: AWS, Documentum, Java.

Hybrid Role: 3 days onsite per week - Mandatory

Contract Duration: 12 months

Experience with Java and Python.

Experience working with AWS services including EC2, ECS, RDS, ALB, SSM, SQS, SNS, Lambda, and AWS SDK

• Skilled in troubleshooting AWS deployments, reviewing configurations, security policies, and analyzing logs.
• Strong understanding of Agile Scrum practices such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly. Ability to mentor junior staff in the team.
• Capable of managing time, tasks, and priorities independently.
• Preferred certifications include AWS, Documentum, and Java.
