Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Containerization and Infrastructure Engineer to advance our OpenShift platform, installing and operating Operators and supporting logging, service mesh, and observability tooling. You will help automate DevSecOps processes and collaborate with App Dev teams to streamline workflows.

The role favors hands-on triage, scripting in Java/Python/Shell, and a strong Kubernetes mindset. A Bachelor's in CS/CE is preferred, with RHCSA EX280 bonus points.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience with Kubernetes or containers or dockers
• Experience with Red Hat OpenShift AWS
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming / Java Linux / Bash Shell Scripting CICD / DevSecOps Principles SRE Observability Eventing / Kafka Containerization / Docker
• Bachelor’s degree (preference in computer science or computer engineering)
• Bonus points if you have Passed (or in process of obtaining) Red Hat Certified Administrator Exam (EX280)

Responsibilities

• Assist in projects that enhance the feature-set of our OpenShift platform.
• Install, maintain, and operate OpenShift Operators.
• Assist with DevSecOps automation and enhancements and work with App Dev teams.
• Triage and troubleshoot; develop automation tools/scripts; strong affinity for Kubernetes.
