Job summary

Oribu Restaurant at Grand Hyatt Washington is seeking a Server to join the opening team. You will present menus, suggest items, and ensure a memorable dining experience during lunch and dinner service in a fast-paced setting.

Expect to work flexible hours between 9:30am and 1:00am, with hourly pay starting at $13.50 and rising to $15.00 after six months. Benefits include health, retirement, paid time off, and more for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
• Refined verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to lift moderate amounts of weight.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, including stairs.
• Availability to work any day of the week including weekends and holidays.
• Previous experience as a Server is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Present food and beverage options and submit guest menu selections.
• Gain menu knowledge and make recommendations from cuisine and drink offerings.
• Engage in casual conversation and create the restaurant experience by style and service attributes.
• Perform general restaurant preparation and maintain a sanitary environment.
