Join us for the OPENER Front Desk role at Retro Fitness

We are seeking a friendly and team-oriented individual to be the face of Retro Fitness. As a Front Desk employee, you will greet members, assist with check-ins, and ensure a positive experience for all visitors. The role requires excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Requirements
  • Positive, upbeat personality
  • Effective communication skills with customers, coworkers, and managers
  • Ability to multi-task and customer service oriented
  • Punctuality, responsibility, and attention to detail
  • CPR/AED training preferred
  • Prior retail sales experience preferred
  • Successful completion of all Retro University courses
Work Environment

Inside the Retro Fitness outlet with varying hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends.

Supervision

Supervised by the Retro Fitness General Manager.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting and checking in members
  • Resolving member issues
  • Membership sales and retention
  • Selling merchandise like smoothies, drinks, and Pro Shop items
  • Maintaining a safe and clean environment
  • Performing downtime tasks such as facility upkeep
  • Opening and closing the facility as scheduled
  • Adhering to company policies and dress code
Dress Code

Staff shirt with khaki or black athletic pants, sneakers; no boots, heels, open-toe shoes, or sandals. Employees should be well groomed and neat.

Shift Requirements
  • Opening staff to arrive 15 minutes early for preparations
  • Closing staff to close at the scheduled time
