Qualifications

• Experience in ANSI C programming.
• Understanding of Shell script, PERL, and AWK is beneficial.
• Familiarity with IBM Websphere MQ is a plus.
• Experience with IBM WebSphere MQ is a plus.
• Airline industry experience is a plus.
• Ability to take on periodic 24x7 on-call responsibilities.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to interact with teams supporting critical, large-scale applications.
• Comprehensive understanding of Open Systems and Travel Security related applications over time.
• Serve as a focal point for functional or technical issues involving Open Systems applications.
• Create and review project estimates, requirements documentation, technical design documentation, test plans and implementation plans.

Position: Open Systems Applications Developer

Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Responsibilities and Qualifications

• ANSI C experience
• Shel script, PERL and AWK, a plus
• IBM Websphere MQ, a plus
• Airline Industry experience, a plus
• Ability to take on periodic (e.g. once every 5-7 weeks) 24x7 on-call responsibilities
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Ability to effectively interact with teams supporting critical, large-scale applications on other platforms
• Strong sense of dedication and responsibility to the Open Systems team and the applications it supports
• Possess (over time) a comprehensive understanding of the Open Systems and Travel Security related applications
• Serve as a focal point for functional or technical issues involving the Open Systems applications
• Create and/or review project estimates, requirements documentation, technical design documentation, test plans and implementation plans
