Job summary

Amentum is seeking a linguist and CI support specialist to perform translation, transcription, and interpretation across multiple languages for AFOSI and linked units. The role includes open-source analysis, cultural advisement, and producing concise threat reports and briefings. Travel up to 30% of the time is required to support field operations and mission needs.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, Top Secret/SCI eligibility, ILR/DLPT level 3 proficiency, and strong Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have Top Secret clearance and SCI eligibility at hire.
• ILR/DLPT level 3 proficiency in target language and English.
• Ability to travel within the AOR up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate in a multi-faceted team providing translation assistance; transcription, translation and interpretation.
• Conduct analysis using open-source information to address national security issues.
• Provide open-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations and other requirements.
• Translate open-source information and perform social network analysis on target language content.
• Produce translation reports, briefings, and cultural analyses for AFOSI field leadership.
• Support MEDEX language and cultural reviews and briefings.
