Job summary

Prime Intellect is building an open frontier AI stack that unifies training, evaluation, and deployment for researchers and engineers. You will own the path from emerging research artifacts to open-source and product experiences, working inside Applied Research with engineers and designers.

You will ship core open-source systems, shape researcher-facing features, and develop APIs and examples that make research artifacts usable and reusable by external contributors and customers.

Qualifications

• Ownership of open-source ML or developer-tool systems.
• Hands-on experience building and debugging model-training, post-training, agent, evaluation loops.
• Strong experimental judgment with baselines, trace inspection, and failure attribution.
• Strong Python and the ability to build runnable artifacts for researchers and engineers.
• Comfort owning ambiguous problems and keeping partners updated.

Responsibilities

• Own open-source RL, environment, evaluation, and agent systems.
• Develop researcher-facing features in our training platform, with engineering and design input.
• Create APIs, examples, reference implementations, and explanations exposing useful abstractions.
• Collaborate with research users and external contributors to improve interfaces.
• Work with external researchers to build a coherent research system from task to deployment.
