The College of Staten Island, part of The City University of New York, invites applications for a tenure-track open rank nursing faculty position beginning Fall 2027. This full-time, in-person teaching role supports undergraduate and graduate programs and emphasizes collaboration and scholarly growth.

The successful candidate will hold a graduate degree in nursing, possess strong communication skills, and be committed to inclusive excellence and service to the college community.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in nursing (PhD, EdD, or DNP). If earned doctorate is not in nursing, must have a master’s degree in nursing.
• Three (3) years of clinical nursing practice
• Three (3) years of academic teaching experience with nursing students in classroom and clinical sites.
• New York State license as a registered nurse, unencumbered, with current registration. If not licensed in NY, must have license in another state and be eligible to obtain NY licensure after hire.

Responsabilités

• Teach undergraduate and graduate nursing courses in person.
• engage in scholarly activities and service within the college and profession.
• Collaborate with colleagues across divisions to strengthen curricula.
• Contribute to accreditation processes and curricular reporting.
