Join the College of Innovation and Technology (CIT) at the University of Michigan-Flint to shape the future of cybersecurity. CIT and its Center for Cybersecurity offer opportunities for research, talent development, and commercialization. Candidates will contribute to education, curriculum development, and outreach to build a diverse cybersecurity workforce. CIT is expanding, with a new Innovation and Technology Complex opening soon, providing a dynamic environment where research, education, and entrepreneurship meet to address cybersecurity challenges and create community impact.
The Division of Computing seeks applications for multiple tenure-track positions at Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels, with expertise in areas such as AI in cybersecurity, Trustworthy AI, Cloud/Container security, Web3 Security, Quantum Computing, Cyberbiosecurity, Supply Chain security, and Privacy Technologies.
The division offers BS, MS, and recently launched PhD programs. Research areas include AI cybersecurity, Trustworthy AI, Privacy Technologies, Blockchain, IoT intrusion detection, post-quantum cryptography, smart grid security, and more. Successful candidates will teach undergrad and grad courses, develop new programs, mentor students, establish research funding, and publish scholarly work. Startup packages include funding and release time.
