Job summary

Marshall University School of Physical Therapy invites applications for a 12-month, full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor starting January 2027. Primary needs include teaching gross anatomy and other areas such as diagnostic imaging and musculoskeletal physiology within the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.

Qualifications

• Earned degree in physical therapy (PT, MPT, or DPT).
• Current unrestricted physical therapy license in a United States jurisdiction, with eligibility for licensure in West Virginia.
• Earned terminal academic degree (PhD, EdD, DSc, or equivalent).
• Applicants with DPT and ABPTS board certification will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Teaching and advising students in the Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
• Developing and sustaining an active scholarly agenda.
• Participating in service activities at the program, college, university, and professional levels.
• Contributing to curriculum development and ongoing program assessment.
