The Molinaroli College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina is continuing to expand its tenured and tenure-track ranks significantly. As part of this growth, the Department of Chemical Engineering seeks to add a tenured or tenure-track faculty member to begin in Fall 2027. This position will be located in Columbia, SC. Applicants at all ranks are encouraged to apply. Applicants for the rank of Assistant Professor must possess a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering or a related field by the time of appointment and demonstrate potential for excellence in teaching and research; applicants for the rank of Associate Professor and Full Professor must also have years of relevant academic experience commensurate with academic policy by the time of appointment, with a strong, sustained record of excellence in teaching and research. Successful candidates will be expected to develop and sustain an internationally recognized research program.
