Job summary

Vermont Law and Graduate School's Maverick Lloyd School for the Environment invites applications for an open rank tenure-track appointment in Public Policy with an environmental policy focus. We seek scholars whose work crosses disciplinary boundaries and connects policy with practice.

The successful candidate will teach in the Master of Public Policy program and contribute to the school’s other graduate degrees, with a 4-course annual load across residential and online formats, starting August

Qualifications

Ph.D. by the time of appointment.
Demonstrated expertise in environmental public policy, with scholarship or applied work spanning more than one substantive policy domain.
Capacity to teach foundational graduate policy courses to students from a wide range of academic and professional backgrounds.
Experience teaching in online or hybrid formats.

Responsibilities

Teach in the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program and contribute to the school’s other graduate degrees.
Contribute to curriculum development and faculty governance, and engage with policymakers and practitioners.
Collaborate with external partners and centers withinVLGS to advance environmental policy scholarship and education.
Lead capstone project sequences and supervise student research.
