Job summary

The Department of Pathology at University of Virginia invites applications for a full-time pathologist board-certified in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology. The role includes sign-out of surgical pathology and/or cytopathology cases within a subspecialized diagnostic workflow.

Special interest in Head & Neck, Genitourinary, or Gastrointestinal pathology is welcomed. Teaching, scholarly activity, and teamwork are expected of all faculty members.

Qualifications

• MD degree or equivalent required.
• Board-certified or eligible for certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted Virginia medical licensure.

Responsibilities

• Sign-out routine and consultation surgical pathology and/or cytopathology cases.
• participate in subspecialized diagnostic workflow and teaching.
• Engage in scholarly activity and collaborate with trainees and colleagues.
