Job Title: Open Rank, Open Track – Sr. Instructor, Assistant, Associate, Professor – MSK

Job Summary

The Department of Radiology at University of Colorado Anschutz is seeking applicants for a full‑time radiologist and faculty member in the Musculoskeletal Radiology Section. We consider candidates at all career stages from the Sr. Instructor through Full Professor levels.

The department offers two career pathways: a Clinical Practice Track focusing exclusively on clinical work with no research expectations, and an Academic/Tenure‑Eligible Track focusing on clinical, teaching, and research missions with incentive eligibility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnostic responsibilities include subspecialty interpretation of MSK, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and radiographs. Spine imaging interpretation is shared with the neuroradiology and MSK sections. The team reads cases referred by Orthopedic Surgery, PM&R, and Sports Medicine. Weekend call duties are shared among all section members and consist of MSK specialty‑specific coverage.
  • Experience in standard interventional MSK procedures such as CT‑guided and ultrasound‑guided biopsy, spine injection, and joint injection/aspiration is necessary; we are happy to work with new colleagues to adapt existing skills to our practice. A subset of attendings perform advanced interventions including kyphoplasty and tumor ablation, and opportunities in this area are available.
  • Participation in all aspects of our clinical practice across multiple sites as required.
  • Participation and collaboration through interdisciplinary conferences.
  • Participation in fellow and resident education.
  • Regular interaction with referring providers in a highly collaborative setting.

  • ABR eligible or certified.
  • Colorado license by the time of hire.
