Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Department of Anesthesiology seeks a full‑time Obstetric Anesthesiologist at open rank (Assistant, Associate or Professor) to join the Obstetric Anesthesia Section in Aurora, CO. The attending anesthesiologist may supervise trainees and CRNAs, providing specialized obstetric and fetal anesthesia care across our affiliated hospitals.

Candidates must be fellowship‑trained in obstetric anesthesiology and licensed to practice in Colorado.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice medicine in Colorado and board eligible or diplomat of ABSA.
• Fellowship trained in obstetric anesthesiology.
• Experience in teaching Anesthesiology.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for high-risk obstetric patients.
• Deliver labor analgesia and perioperative management.
• Possibly lead clinical education and participate in research.
