Job summary
University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks Instructional Series Faculty appointments at open ranks (Instructor to Teaching Professor) to teach foundational and specialized nursing content across programs and campuses.
Successful candidates will have teaching experience, clinical relevance, and commitment to diversity. Positions primarily at Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora with possible teaching on Legacy Campus in Lone Tree; hybrid scheduling is available.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- Direct-entry master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
- A master's degree from an accredited institution.
- Eligible to obtain an unencumbered nursing license in Colorado.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in teaching, collegial collaboration, and commitment to scholarship.
Responsibilities
- Teach across programs and multiple CU Nursing locations.
- Instruct foundational and adult health content, pediatrics, FNP/AGNP/PMHNP content as applicable.
- Engage in didactic and clinical teaching, including supervision of clinical courses.
- Contribute to curricular/program development and scholarship.
- Promote a psychologically safe learning environment and student engagement.
