Houston Methodist/Rice Center for Neural Systems Restoration is inviting applications for an open-rank faculty member at the Assistant, Associate, or Professor level with joint appointments at Houston Methodist Research Institute, Rice University, and Weill Cornell Medical College.

Ideal candidates will have a PhD, MD/PhD, or MD, completed postdoctoral training, a strong publication record, and a demonstrated history of scientific discovery in non-invasive or invasive brain research modalities.

Qualifications

• PhD, MD/PhD, or MD degree required.
• Completed postdoctoral experience.
• Strong publication record.
• History of scientific discovery and translational potential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and advance research across non-invasive or invasive brain approaches (electrophysiology, imaging, ultrasound, TMS, computation).
• Collaborate across institutions to leverage translational opportunities and develop innovative therapies for brain dysfunction.
• Drive a productive, publishable research program within a multi-institution translational environment.
