Job Summary :

Calling all Medical Assistants and Certified Medical Assistants! Our busy clinics are recruiting for Medical Assistants! We need your training and skills to help our clinic run smoothly, providing our patients with top-notch quality care.

The Medical Assistant (MA) is responsible for providing patient care under the supervision of a physician or healthcare provider. The MA facilitates clinic workflow, assists patients, and ensures the safe and seamless delivery of care.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Room patients accurately, obtain and record vital signs, patient history, and reason for visit.
  • Process and record telephone messages in medical records according to policy.
  • Assist in preparing prescription refills for providers per policy.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in written and verbal communication.
  • Communicate effectively and attentively with patients.
  • Verify patient understanding of the visit's purpose.
  • Document all care and procedures accurately within the medical record.
Work Location :

This role is onsite at various clinics in the Denver Metro Area.

Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :

Medical Assistant :

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program OR one year of medical assistant work experience.

Certified Medical Assistant :

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
  • One year of medical assistant work experience.
  • Current CMA certification (e.g., AAMA, NCCT).

Substitution : A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Preferred Qualifications :
  • MS Office experience
  • EPIC experience
  • Kronos experience
  • HealthStream experience
Conditions of Employment :
  • Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
  • Maintaining all required licensure and certifications
  • Ability to work in person and travel to alternate locations as needed
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
  • Strong organizational, medical terminology, CPT & ICD-10 coding, medication, and injection procedures knowledge
  • Ability to use medical equipment, accurately record vital signs, reconcile medications, and maintain quality standards
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to identify solutions

Salary Range :

Medical Assistant: $44,116 - $51,527

Certified Medical Assistant: $47,813 - $55,846

The salary ranges are estimates and may be eligible for overtime depending on the level.
