Job summary

A prominent university in Georgia is seeking part-time faculty for the Department of Mechanical Engineering for the 2026-2027 academic year. Positions will be filled on an as-needed basis to teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Candidates must have either a Master’s degree or a doctorate in relevant fields. Experience with FEA software is preferred. This role provides an excellent opportunity to contribute to student learning and success in engineering education.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering or related discipline is required.
• For graduate courses, a Terminal/Doctorate degree in a related field is required.

Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in solid mechanics, aerospace engineering and capstone design.
