Job Summary:
As an important member of the GI community practice team, the Gastroenterologist will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital consultations, endoscopic procedures, and nights/weekends call coverage.
The gastroenterologist will primarily see outpatients at the Cherry Creek Medical Center location at least 4 days per week (3 half-days outpatient clinic consultations, 5 half-days outpatient endoscopy). Additionally, they will help to provide daytime inpatient GI consultative services as well as nights/weekend call coverage at Highlands Ranch Hospital in rotation with other members of the community practice group.
The successful applicant for this position will be someone who communicates appropriately and effectively with patients, staff, consultants, and colleagues, has outstanding customer service skills, and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
Key Responsibilities:
Evaluation and management of GI disorders within the scope of a general gastroenterologist including:
oGERD
oDysphagia
oIBS/functional GI disorders
oEosinophilic Esophagitis
oInflammatory Bowel Disease
oAbnormal liver function tests
oPancreatitis
oOccult iron deficiency anemia
oGI motility disorders
Work Location:
Onsite- this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Denver Metro, CO.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established asHIRING RANGE:
Base Salary:
Instructor: ~$300,000
Senior Instructor: ~$300,000
Assistant Professor: ~$300,000
Associate Professor: ~$350,000
Professor: ~$350,000
Total Compensation (base + variable): $500,000 to $600,000
Compensation is composed of a base salary (dependent on rank) and additional variable compensation based on productivity to achieve total compensation.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
