The Morsani College of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Hospital Medicine is seeking Academic Hospitalists Nocturnists (Open-Rank) interested in night shifts (7 pm - 7 am). The role involves providing inpatient care, consulting with medical staff, interpreting lab results, educating staff and students, managing patient flow, and ensuring quality and safety standards. Responsibilities also include developing care protocols, advising referring physicians, and potentially presenting research projects to advance hospital medicine.
The position reports to a Chair or higher-level administrator and involves teaching, research, service, and administrative duties. Candidates must be BC/BE in Internal Medicine and/or Family Medicine.
