Job summary

MusC Health, the clinical enterprise of the Medical University of South Carolina, is seeking an adult cardiac surgeon to join the Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. The successful candidate will cover affiliated programs across South Carolina, including Florence, Anderson, Greenwood and Columbia, and must have completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery residency with ABTS eligibility and SC licensure.

Appointment as Assistant Professor or Associate Professor will be commensurate with experience, and

Qualifications

• Residency in Cardiothoracic Surgery completed.
• ABTS certification/eligibility with American Board of Thoracic Surgery.
• Eligible for a South Carolina Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Cover affiliated cardiac surgery programs around South Carolina, including Florence, Anderson, Greenwood and Columbia.
• Perform general adult cardiac surgery procedures such as CABG, valve repair/replacement, and aortic surgery.
